Most self-improvement content sells you the feeling of change. A fortified mind is the structure that holds when the feeling leaves.
The Unfortified Mind: What You Are Replacing
To understand fortified, you must see unfortified.
An unfortified mind lets anything take residence — lies, excuses, offense, noise, dysfunction. It crowns feeling as king and baptizes chaos as identity. Then it wonders why peace will not stay.
