Pool royalties pay every 113 days?
Part of every Encourage, sale, and subscription on Alabasta flows into a shared pool — and faithful artists get a slice.
How the pool works
- 10% of sales · 20% of engagement · subscriptions feed the pool
- Operating expenses deducted monthly first — then royalties
- Every 113 days: eligible artists & DJs split 60% of what's left (40% stays in reserve)
- Tenure: 113+ days on paid $12 artist or $50 DJ sub · 12+ plays or 12+ on-air in the cycle
Pool open gates — 500 citizens + $2,500 pool
Pool royalty runs every 113 days — but only after both gates pass: 500+ active citizens and $2,500 net pool (after monthly expenses). Until then, the pool keeps filling. Your direct fan earnings still pay on the 29-day rail.
7-year Jubilee — 80% once
Every 7 years, the first eligible 113-day run after the anniversary pays 80% of the pool instead of 60% — one extra-generous blessing that cycle. Then back to normal 60/40 until the next 7-year mark. Same eligibility — you don't hustle extra; the city remembers faithful ministers.
If the platform ever dissolves — 93% to artists
If Alabasta shuts down, 93% of the remaining artist pool (after final verified expenses) is paid in one final distribution to eligible artists and DJs with 113+ days on a paid subscription. 7% covers lawful wind-down costs. Direct earnings in your wallet are separate and still follow the 29-day payout rail.
Monthly pool prizes
- Top Earner — 10% of monthly pool bonus
- Top Recruiter — 5% of monthly pool bonus (min 16 sign-ups)
Plain meaning
Even when nobody Encourages you today, the community's activity still builds a fund you share in — if you stay active and paid in on the platform.
