Register with a PRO in 10 minutes

Alabasta pays you directly. Your PRO pays you again when your song plays in public — including the jukebox. Don't leave money on the table.

What is a PRO?

A Performing Rights Organization (SOCAN in Canada, ASCAP/BMI in the US) collects performance royalties when your composition is played publicly.

Steps

  1. Register as songwriter at SOCAN, ASCAP, or BMI
  2. Register each original song (title, co-writers, splits)
  3. Keep split sheets if you co-write — percentages must match PRO registration
  4. Alabasta reports plays; you collect through your PRO membership
