Co-writes need split sheets?
"We'll figure it out later" destroys friendships and careers. Put percentages on paper before the song leaves the room.
What a split sheet includes
- Song title and date
- Every writer's legal name and contact
- Percentage of the composition (must total 100%)
- Signatures (email PDF counts for indie work)
Why it matters on Alabasta
Your PRO registration must match your split sheet. Your upload payout splits must match too. When money flows, everyone gets paid correctly — or lawyers get paid instead.
